Woman says butt lift filler left her infertile, in constant agony: ‘My limitations are severe’
Her life got rear-ended.
An influencer is warning women to steer clear of a popular butt filler, saying it left her infertile and in ongoing pain.
Self-proclaimed “surgery addict” Jennifer Pamplona — who spent a whopping $1M to look like Kim Kardashian — wants others to avoid the commonly-used cosmetic material polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) like it is the plague.
“I always dreamed of being a mother,” the Brazilian, who has had dozens of procedures, told Need To Know. “Unfortunately, I now find myself unable to fulfill this dream due to the complications caused by PMMA.”
While Pamplona’s infertility isn’t directly linked to the use of PMMA, her complications are believed to be associated with improper application or an adverse reaction.
As a result, the substance can migrate from the injection site to other parts of the body, including the pelvic area, which can affect the functioning of the reproductive organs
Pamplona says she experienced an adverse reaction caused by the material spread from her rear pelvic area to her reproductive organs during a bioplasty a decade ago. Her surgeon, Dr. Carlos Rios said that medical mishap became a “matter of life or death.”
“The symptoms she exhibited were a direct consequence of this procedure,” he said. “She was hanging by a thread.
“The suffering is immense, and the pain of not being able to create life is something I never imagined facing,” she said of losing the chance to be a biological mother.
However, her doctor said things have been looking up “with meditation, proper diet, supplementation and medication.”
“My limitations are severe, and I don’t know what the future holds,” she sadly stated.
The influencer started undergoing plastic surgery at the age of 17 and has since had over 30 procedures – including body and face.
She only decided to stop after being diagnosed with body dysmorphia in 2022.
Pamplona may undergo one more procedure — a reconstructive surgery to hopefully reverse more of what she’s dealt with.
Now, she is going through a period of great suffering and coming to terms with the complications.
“I like to say that if everyone paid attention to their emotional health, procedures would be less frequent,” she declared.
