The brutality continued Sunday morning in Middle Village, Queens, when police responded to a 911 call just after 3 a.m. involving a 19-year-old who had sustained a gunshot wound to the torso in Queens.
Police responded to 79-45 Metropolitan Avenue at approximately 3:25 a.m. and found the injured teen on a busy commercial stretch, just steps away from St. John’s Cemetery.
The victim was transported by ambulance to New York City Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he later died from his injuries.
A 21-year-old male was also brought by private means to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the arm. He was listed in stable condition.
