A new study by Finance Buzz analyzed “regular-sized domestic” macrobrews — such as Budweiser and Coors — at the 50 busiest US airports to determine which ones charge the most.
This study comes as the average price of an airport beer has skyrocketed by 21%, hopping up from $7.42 in 2023 to $8.97 today due to inflation.
The newly-revamped LaGuardia International Airport topped the list with a regular domestic beer costing $13.83 — 54% higher than the national airport average.
Beer drinkers won’t be buzzed to know that they could almost buy an entire case of beer for that price.
