Tampa officers rescue abandoned dog in the nick of time after selfish owner tied pooch to a fence

Tampa highway officers came across a horrific scene while on patrol: A helpless dog tied to a fence ahead of Hurricane Milton’s landfall.

The defenseless animal was stomach-deep in rainwater, barking for help.

The desperate pooch was tied up across a field from a highway before he was rescued by cops in the nick of time.

“Do NOT do this to your pets please…” Florida Highway Patrol urged, sharing the heartbreaking, outrageous video on X.
