Olivia Rodrigo is Glossier’s first-ever celebrity face
Olivia Rodrigo must be “happier” than ever, now that she’s inked a deal as Glossier’s first celebrity spokesperson.
In addition to serving as an ambassador for the beauty brand, the 19-year-old “Drivers License” singer will “lend her unique voice and perspective to exciting initiatives spanning product, content and creative campaigns, all while connecting with the Glossier community,” per a press release.
In honor of the freshly inked partnership, three of the teen queen’s Glossier products of choice — Boy Brow pomade, Ultralip tint and Pro Tip liquid eyeliner — are now available in a $45 bundle dubbed “Olivia’s Favorites.”
“The way I feel best is when I’m in makeup that accentuates my natural features and makes me glowy — when it enhances what I have naturally,” the Grammy winner told the brand.
“Before, I’d let people do the craziest things, like hot pink lipstick and crazy eyelashes. But as I grow, I learn what I feel comfortable in, and I’m willing to advocate for that.”
She called winged eyeliner “her favorite thing in the world,” adding, “I just try to do it every day and statistically, I have to have improved at least a little.”
As part of the deal, Rodrigo will also collaborate with Glossier on “tour experiences and merch, develop[ing] custom product sets, and co-creating content,” per the company.
The Gen Z-loved beauty brand launched in 2014 with a selection of simple skincare and makeup items, but has expanded in recent years to include bath and body products, perfume and more.
And while Rodrigo might be Glossier’s first official celebrity face, the brand has featured stars like “Euphoria” actress Sydney Sweeney, “RuPaul’s Drag Race” runner-up Naomi Smalls and Steve Jobs’ model daughter, Eve, in past campaigns.
