Neo-Nazis march in Florida chanting, ‘We Are Everywhere’
Neo-Nazi groups rallied across Orlando, Florida, over the weekend spouting antisemitic and racist speech while also destroying LGBTQ Pride flags in front of the entrance to Walt Disney World.
Shocking videos on social media show the Neo-Nazi groups marching in north Orlando Saturday, waving swastika flags and shouting, “Heil Hitler” and “We are everywhere.”
Florida Rep. Anna V. Eskamani uploaded one such video of a group marching by the Cranes Roost Park in the center of the town, warning that it was yet “another example of the far right extremism growing in FL.”
Laura Loomer, a far-right activist and former-Congressional candidate, also uploaded a video of the groups marching in Orlando, claiming the event was organized by the Goyim Defense League hate group who shouted antisemitic slurs at her.
Notable white supremacist Jon Minadeo was seen in the video, along with Christopher Pohlhaus, the leader of the Neo-Nazi Blood Tribe group.
Pohlhaus could be seen in one video claiming he would vote for President Biden in 2024 over his support for Ukraine, where the far-right all-volunteer military group Azov Battalion is fighting, while another group voiced its support for Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
Ahead of the rally through Orlando’s streets, members of the local Florida neo-Nazi network Order of the Black Sun were seen doing the Nazi salute and destroying pride flags outside Disney World.
The scene was reminiscent of when hate groups descended at the theme park in June waving Nazi flags and banners near a campaign rally for DeSantis.
Disney World has become a recent target of hate groups after the company entered a political battle with DeSantis over his infamous “Don’t Say Gay” bill.
The Anti-Defamation League had warned Florida officials that the Neo-Nazi groups were planning a demonstration over the Labor Day weekend.
The latest Neo-Nazi marches in Florida come a week after Ryan Palmer, 21, shot and killed three black people in a racially motivated attack at a Jacksonville Dollar General store in a predominantly black neighborhood.
Palmer was wielding guns branded with swastikas and left behind “several manifestos” detailing his hatred for black people, officials said.
The NAACP has notably issued an official travel advisory for Florida for people of color.
