My holiday party outfit stained my skin — everyone called me a Smurf
Elvis isn’t the only one having a blue Christmas.
Beth Gray, 25, shared her outfit disaster in a now-viral TikTok, explaining she had purchased an electric-blue, strapless, feather top from Club L London for $80 to wear to a party — only to find herself with blue underarms like a Smurf.
“I was taking a picture of my friend when she said, ‘Beth, look at your armpit.’ I looked down, and I was like, ‘Oh my god,’” Gray told Jam Press. “As the night went on, this gradually got worse.”
Gray turned blue throughout the evening until she reached her final Smurf stage — which she was reportedly still stuck in the following morning.
The 10-second clip — which has been viewed more than 2.3 million times since it was posted Thursday — starts off with a stylish Gray posing in a corner of the venue, wearing her eye-catching top and some shimmery silver pants.
However, the night quickly loses its luster as the content creator holds up her arms to show some distinct blue smears on her skin.
“Thanks @clubllondon for making me into a Christmas Smurf,” she joked in the caption.
The Post reached out to Club L London for comment.
Gray said she had a blazer to cover herself up that night, and she’s not seeing red since she claims the company issued her a refund.
“I had to laugh at the situation then and now,” she chuckled, as TikTokers shared their own colorful commentary.
“Omg I laughed so hard,” one woman giggled.
“Took that out my basket so quick,” another responded.
“Omg I bought the red one for my bday last year and I was red and people I hugged were red!” offered a third.
