Kylian Mbappé fans urge Kim Kardashian to ‘stay away’
Some of Kylian Mbappé’s biggest supporters have a message for Kim Kardashian.
Fans of the Paris Saint-Germain star recently flooded the Skims founder’s Instagram page, where she posted a photo of the duo from Michael Rubin’s starry Fourth of July bash, and urged her to steer clear of the 24-year-old amid a so-called “curse.”
“Stay away from Mbappé,” one Instagram commented Thursday on Kardashian’s post.
Another responded, “Mbappe don’t do it !!”
“Don’t sacrifice Mbappe please,” a user wrote in the comments.
Kardashian, 42, caught a Paris Saint-Germain match back in March, when the team lost its first home Ligue 1 game in nearly two years.
Around the same time, the “Kardashians” star was in the stands for Arsenal’s Europa League loss against Sporting CP.
When Arsenal’s title dreams were dashed in May, CBS Sports Golazo illustrated the team’s record since Kardashian’s March appearance and tweeted, “Curse?”
The “curse” has been something of internet folklore for years, with fans speculating that those linked to members of the famous family could potentially endure bad luck.
Though there’s long been online noise in Kardashian’s orbit, it seems she’s having one memorable summer so far.
As one of the many celebrity guests at Rubin’s Hamptons party, Kardashian mingled with multiple A-Listers, including retired NFL quarterback Tom Brady.
Although one report alleged the two were “super flirty and dancing,” Page Six exclusively reported Friday that Brady and Kardashian “only talked briefly.”
“Kim and Tom are friends and have a lot of respect for each other,” a source said, noting Kardashian is focused on her family and businesses right now.
Kardashian finalized her divorce from rapper Kanye West last November while Brady announced in October that he and Gisele Bündchen had divorced after 13 years of marriage.
