Want to experience Kanye West’s visions in real life?
The rapper’s highly sought-after Yeezy x Gap Engineered by Balenciaga collection will soon be available to see and touch.
Starting Saturday, fans of West’s can get their hands on his goods in select Gap stores across the United States, including the brand’s flagship store in Times Square.
The Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga collaboration was first announced in January. The initial drop followed in February, and included a denim jacket, jeans, sweatpants, T-shirts and hoodies.
A second collection offering slightly wilder far, like a face-obscuring black mask and Kim Kardashian-worthy gloved catsuit — followed in May.
“This first of its kind launch sees Ye’s peerless vision bring together the most influential designer of his generation, Demna, with iconic American brand, Gap,” read a press release announcing the collaboration with Balenciaga’s creative director, Demna.
“Yeezy Gap engineered by Balenciaga continues Ye’s commitment to bringing creativity to the forefront and delivering his vision of utilitarian design for all.”
Ye and Demna have teamed up many times in the past, with the Georgian designer serving as creative director for many Yeezy projects, as well as dressing West’s exes Kim Kardashian and Julia Fox.
On Thursday, the pair also announced a virtual game designed by Demna, with virtual avatars dressed in the duo’s first collection. It’s available to play on the Yeezy Gap website, where fans can also purchase select pieces from the inaugural drop.
