Jules Breach joins Fox Sports soccer coverage after Kate Abdo exit
Fox Sports has an exciting new soccer anchor.
Jules Breach will host the network’s coverage of UEFA Euro 2024, Fox announced Thursday.
The announcement comes about a year after host Kate Abdo left Fox to work full-time for CBS, which airs the Champions League.
“I was absolutely buzzing when the call came from Fox Sports because it’s a network I’ve always watched when I’ve been in the United States and having grown up in the Caribbean,” Breach said in a statement.
“It’s an honor to work on any tournament, in any way, so to be the lead host for the EUROS is something I’m very proud of and I’m excited to be talking football with fans across America.”
This is Fox’s first time airing the Euros, which were previously on ESPN platforms.
The tournament runs from June 14 through July 14.
Breach is currently a reporter and anchor for TNT Sports in the UK, and hosts Channel 4’s England National Team coverage.
She has also previously been a part of Optus Sport Australia’s coverage of the World Cup, Women’s World Cup and Euros.
Fox has a full slate of soccer this summer, as the network is also the rightsholder for the Copa America tournament.
Copa America airs from June 20 through July 14 and will be hosted by Rob Stone, who anchored the network’s coverage of last year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
