JetBlue praised for going ‘above and beyond’ for boy’s 1st flight

It was love at first flight.

A Connecticut mom is praising JetBlue for going “above and beyond” to make her 6-year-old son’s first time flying as smooth as possible.

Teacher Deana Conlogue, who often posts TikToks about her son, Colton, shared a 2-minute clip of his ride last week that is soaring with 1.2 million views.

As soon as he boards, Colton is asked if he wants to drive the plane.

“This is my first time on a plane,” he announces before visiting the cockpit to greet the pilots, who inquire about his travel plans.

“Nashville,” Colton responded.

The family was dropping Colton’s older brother at college.

The pilots allowed Colton to take a pic in the driver’s seat, with Conlogue snapping a photo of a grinning Colton in the cockpit.

And when it came to refreshment time, Colton’s name was announced over the intercom — and he was tapped to hand out food and beverages with airline staff.

He was filmed delivering snack trays to other passengers with a flight attendant named Lorinda.

He was even given some bonus snacks for his efforts.

“JetBlue rolled out the red carpet for Colton. It was his first plane ride and they went above and beyond to make his experience special. Thank you to the amazing crew, especially Lorinda for treating him so well!” Conlogue captioned her Aug. 17 post.

Fans loved the sweet gesture, with the post landing hundreds of comments.

“Yah this flight attendant wins employee of the week in my opinion. Well done by everyone,” one person applauded.

“That FA is a superstar. @JetBlue please recognize her,” agreed another.

The Post reached out JetBlue and Conlogue for comment.

It appears Conlogue found Lorinda on TikTok. In a follow-up video, Colton shares his appreciation for her special care.

“Hi Lorinda, thanks for making my first flight the best flight,” he gushed.
