I’m told my work outfits are ‘inappropriate’ but I don’t care

A woman’s outfits have caused controversy in the workplace after reportedly making her co-workers feel uncomfortable.

TikTok user Mari, who posts under the username YaMarie_23, posted a clip claiming she was shamed for what she wears to work, with her co-workers apparently calling it inappropriate.

In the clip — which has been viewed almost 15,000 times — Mari shows off her outfit, which consists of wearing an oversized white button up shirt as a dress, with a cropped woolen vest over the top with some tan wedge heels.

“When my co-workers want to complain about my inappropriate outfit,” she wrote on the 6-second video.

Mari — who appears to work in an office setting — doesn’t appear too fazed by her co-workers thoughts, mouthing along with a TikTok sound bite of a child swearing as she stares defiantly down at the camera.

The user has turned off commenting on the video, but according to The Sun, many didn’t think there was anything wrong with the cheeky outfit.

“How cute,” one user wrote under the video.

“I think it fits you perfectly,” another added.

Last week, another TikToker complained her boss told her that her shirts are “too short” and were too “inappropriate.”

“I got in trouble for dressing inappropriately at work” user Jennifer Huerta captioned the video.
