I had 44H breasts — I couldn’t breathe and was constantly sexualized
It’s the breast decision she’s ever made.
A woman who spent her entire life in pain from her 44H-sized breasts shelled out $16,000 for a “life-changing” reduction — saying her only regret is not doing it sooner.
CiCi Dawn, from Las Vegas, was often left in crippling pain due to her chest size, which she said left her not only dealing with physical discomfort but also left battling to maintain her mental health and confidence, as well as men constantly “sexualizing” her body.
The 29-year-old decided to get reduction surgery in June 2022, using her savings to pay for the operation which she has wanted for “as long as [she] can remember.”
Dawn went from a 44H to a 38DD — and says her life is better for it.
“Before the operation, I was in constant back pain and shoulder pain as even most bras would not support the weight I was holding in my chest,” she told NeedToKnow.Online.
The entrepreneur said her entire shape changed, saying that she has a smaller frame and clothing was often ill-fitting due to her chest size.
“I also couldn’t wear bikinis at pools, and I would often feel sexualized even when I was fully covered due to my breast size,” she continued. “All in all, my confidence was insanely low, and this was the most life-changing surgery.”
Dawn — who also suffered from sleep apnea due to the weight on her lungs — also struggled to exercise, but now she has been given “a new lease on life.”
The surgery took between three to four hours and included a reduction and lift, with the recovery period taking up to six weeks.
Dawn says the reduction surgery made her realize many of her insecurities came from the size of her breasts.
“I can buy and wear almost everything I want. I do not feel self-conscious going out,” she gushed. “While I still get looks depending on what I wear, the insane stares and messages I’ve received [have] steadily calmed down, and I feel more confident going out and wearing shirts I couldn’t before without being looked at!”
Dawn says her friends and family were supportive of her decision to get the surgery, which she has been talking about for 13 years.
“They’ve gone as far [as] to buy me new clothes and sports bras for my new look,” she said.
Dawn shared her story and transformation to TikTok, hoping it reaches other women in the same position as herself.
“I would recommend it to anyone even thinking about it,” she said. “Most women told me to wait until later in life after having kids, but I cannot stress enough how I wish I would have done this even sooner.”
