Comer flags six ‘concerning’ Biden decisions in biz probe

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) claims to have identified “six specific decisions” Joe Biden took since 2009 that are “very concerning” as his panel investigates the first family’s overseas influence-peddling.

“There are six specific decisions that Joe Biden made either as vice president or president that are very concerning to us, that we believe could potentially lead back to payments that were made to these LLCs that were then laundered down to the Biden family member,” Comer told Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures.”

Comer did not specify to which decisions he was referring, but Biden was accused earlier this month by a former White House stenographer of negotiating a “kickback scheme” when his son Hunter ascended to the board of the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma in 2014.

Mike McCormick, who served for more than a decade in the White House, said that current national security adviser Jake Sullivan outlined plans in April that year for the Obama administration to help boost gas production in the corrupt post-Soviet state.

In December 2014, Congress approved $50 million to support Ukrainian energy.

The 80-year-old president and his Treasury Department have also resisted slapping sanctions on two Russian billionaires — Yelena Baturina and Vladimir Yevtushenkov — whom first son Hunter Biden met at a breakfast in 2012.

As head of the Republican-led House Oversight Committee, Comer is probing foreign business deals by the president’s son and brother, James Biden.

In one instance, the two were paid $4.8 million from CEFC China Energy between 2017 and 2018 — and Comer has since revealed that cash was funneled to at least nine but possibly as many as 12 members of the Biden family, including Hunter’s sister-in-law-turned-former lover, Hallie Biden.

In an email obtained by The Post from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop, the deal guaranteed 10% of the equity was expected to be held by the first son for “the big guy,” which former business associates of Hunter have identified as Joe Biden.

Biden has repeatedly denied knowledge of his son’s overseas business affairs.

The White House has also not answered whether Hunter still owns 10% of another venture linked to the Chinese government, BHR Partners, which he set up in 2013 weeks after a trip to Beijing with his father aboard Air Force Two.

“There’s no explanation for this family to receive this many suspicious wires from adversaries around the world if Joe Biden weren’t directly involved in some type of decision-making,” Comer said of the transactions reviewed by his committee.

“China was probably the most reputable country that the Biden family was dealing with. And the question remains, what were these family members doing to receive this money? There’s no rhyme or reason for some of these Biden family members to receive any type of payment from our adversaries.”

Biden since taking office has rolled back several initiatives by the Trump administration to disrupt Chinese espionage efforts — including a reversal of restrictions against TikTok and the end of a national security program to hamper China’s involvement with US research universities.

And amid mounting evidence that COVID-19 leaked from a Chinese lab, Biden has refrained from publicly pressing Beijing on the origins of the pandemic.

Hunter Biden, 53, is also facing an investigation by the Justice Department for apparently lying about his drug use on a federal gun purchase form and allegedly committing tax fraud.

An IRS whistleblower told Congress last week that the Biden administration is providing “preferential treatment” to the first son in that investigation — and went as far as to suggest Attorney General Merrick Garland had perjured himself before Congress.

Comer went further on Fox News and said other Biden family members should be considered as part of the investigation.

“It would be impossible for the Department of Justice to just cherry-pick Hunter Biden for an indictment and not do anything to the eight other Biden family members,” he said, “because they were essentially doing the same thing.”
