UK pedophile busted as a man is sentenced as a woman

A British pedophile who was prosecuted as a married man turned up to sentencing as a now-single woman dressed head to toe in pink.

The 39-year-old pervert was arrested two years ago while still known as Dominic Mark Carter — but arrived to be sentenced Tuesday as Sophie Louise Carter, using “she/her” pronouns, according to the Telegraph.

The former tree surgeon was fully decked out in pink — including a hair clip, T-shirt, shorts and nail polish — for the hearing at Southampton Crown Court, the UK paper said.

When arrested, Carter had “wrestled” with police to try to stop them from seizing a phone that had 11 indecent photos of children. Two matched the most serious category in such cases, the UK paper said, without elaborating.

Despite having five convictions for unspecified past offenses, Carter was given a six-month prison term that was suspended for 18 months, the UK equivalent of probation.

Judge Nicholas Rowland allowed Carter to stay out of prison despite acknowledging that such porn puts kids at harm.

“The reason that children around the world are subject to abuse and it is filmed is because people seek gratification,” the judge told Carter.

“People like you get gratification from looking at those images.”

Defense attorney Ed Warren blamed Carter’s perversions on a history of abuse and childhood trauma, as well as a “long-standing” abuse of alcohol and drugs, which Carter claims to have kicked.

“The root cause of the mental health issues is this case,” Warren said.

“Miss Carter has now separated from her now-ex-wife. That relationship at the time was beginning to disintegrate.”

Carter was also ordered to complete 60 hours of rehabilitation and 120 hours of unpaid work, and register as a sex offender, the outlet said.
