Cheating husband shot dead in fight between wife, mistress: cops

A cheating Texas husband was gunned down during a fight with his wife and mistress — by a gunman who had also been romantically involved with one of the women, according to reports.

Enyerbe Hose Briceno Gonzalez, 21, had been drinking with several people — including his lover — in the parking lot of a San Antonio apartment building on June 14 when his wife turned up and confronted them, according to police reports.

“A fight broke out between” the group — with Gonzalez’s unidentified mistress telling cops she was hit by the furious wife, the reports show.

The wife, who was also not identified, left at one point — just to return with her husband’s clothes, the reports say.

During the fight, another in the group — identified by cops as Brian Josette Rivero-Montilla, 28 — “said he would go grab a firearm and return to the argument,” the documents state.

He did just that, then fired a shot into the ground — and a second one into Gonzalez’s body, according to cops. Four people at the scene rushed him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Rivero-Montilla was arrested Saturday and charged with murder.

Although police did not detail a motive, he had also dated one of the brawling women, according to KABB-TV, which did not say if it was Gonzales’s wife or mistress.

Rivero-Montilla had recently been arrested for smuggling near the US-Mexico border and was supposed to be wearing an ankle monitor — but is suspected of having cut it off the day before the deadly shooting, the same outlet said.

He remains in custody in the county jail awaiting trial.
