California biker bar shooting leaves 5 dead, 6 injured

A retired law enforcement officer opened fire at a popular biker bar in Orange County, California Wednesday night, killing three people and wounding five others, according to authorities and reports. 

The gunman also died, shot by deputies who responded to the carnage at Cook’s Corner, a Lake Forest restaurant on Santiago Canyon Road in Trabuco Canyon, according to CBS News.

The shooting began as a domestic dispute between the shooter and his wife, sources told the news outlet.

Four people, including the shooter, were declared dead on scene, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said. 

Six people, including five with gunshot wounds, were hospitalized, authorities said.
