Drinking game for the first 2024 Republican presidential debate

If you’re like us, the 2024 presidential campaign has already driven you to drink. So why not make the best of it with The Post’s official 2024 Republican primary debate drinking game?

To play, simply grab your preferred poison, a copy of the rules and tune in at 9 p.m. ET when the eight contenders for the GOP nomination take the stage at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.

You may have your favorite from Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, Nikki Haley, Chris Christie, Tim Scott, Mike Pence, Asa Hutchinson and Doug Burgum — but even your least favorite candidate can help make the two hours fly by.

With the right combination of campaign slogans and buzzwords, you won’t have to worry about being “woke” or passing Haley’s cognitive test. And don’t worry, we’ll make sure you keep hydrated.

Play for money, play for bragging rights, or just play for fun.

But first! Prepare yourself with The Post’s roundup of key issues and where each candidate stands; make sure you know exactly how to watch and what to expect; and learn more about the moderators.

Good luck!

Take a sip of your drink …

… every time a candidate says “woke”

… when a candidate calls another candidate by an unflattering nickname

… when someone references the Biden Crime Family

… when someone says they will eliminate government agencies

… when someone says President Kamala or alludes to the idea that Joe Biden could die (take a second sip if Nikki Haley says it!)

… when a candidate uses a 3-letter acronym (think FBI, IRS, DEI, CDC)

… when a candidate tries to deflect when asked if they think the election was rigged

… when a candidate says they support Trump’s movement (but think they’re the one to finish the job)

… when a candidate interrupts someone else

… when a candidate mentions what state they’re from

… if Chris Christie refers to the “Great State of New Jersey”

… for every Jan. 6 reference

… if someone makes a joke about Chris Christie’s weight

… if someone says Nikki Haley is “past her prime”
