Megyn Kelly blasts Joe Rogan for drinking Bud Light

The Bud Light boycott sparked by the brand’s partnership with Dylan Mulvaney has divided two of the podcasting world’s biggest stars.

Megyn Kelly hit out at Joe Rogan on Thursday for taking a sip of the Anheuser-Busch beer at the start of his “Joe Rogan Experience” podcast on Spotify earlier this week.

Rogan cracked open a can of Bud Light on Tuesday and offered a toast to his guest, country music star Zach Bryan, who agreed with the host’s take that the residual backlash against the brand, which has put a serious dent in its sales, amounted to “silliness.”

“Joe Rogan [is] on the wrong side on this one — popping open a Bud Light, dismissing the whole controversy,” Kelly said during Thursday’s episode of SiriusXM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show.”

“This is the second time he’s done this…[He’s] not getting it.”

Kelly agreed with her guest, the conservative commentator and author Andrew Klavan, that the boycott stemmed from recognition of the “transgender movement as an attack on femininity and an attack on femaleness, which is exactly what it is.” 

Kelly said she was glad to see Anheuser-Busch pay a financial price for its Mulvaney partnership.

The Anheuser-Busch InBev conglomerate reported a 10.5% drop in revenue and a nearly 30% plunge in core profit in the US during the second quarter.

It has lost nearly $40 billion in value.

“I’m enjoying watching them suffer, not gonna lie,” Kelly said, adding that it was “too late” to save the brand.

She said that Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth failed to express true remorse.

“The CEO of Anheuser Busch, he’s not sorry at all,” Kelly said.

“He’s only sorry that it turned into a controversy for him.”

“Most of us wouldn’t be caught dead having a Bud Light now for very good reason,” Kelly said.

“It endorses a whole set of values that we do not support.”

The Post has sought comment from Rogan, Anheuser-Busch and Mulvaney.

Rogan, anticipating fury from his many conservative-leaning listeners, offered a sarcastic apology.

“Sooooorry,” he exhaled.

“People are silly,” Rogan added.

Bryan, who received backlash online after he defended Bud Light and Mulvaney, also commented on the expected reaction on social media, adding: “We’re f–ked.”

“There’s nothing wrong with it,” replied the standup comedian and MMA announcer, whose podcast commands an audience that numbers an estimated 11 million listeners.
