Mystery Facebook post after Sydney mom Abbi Trappel and 4-month-old baby go missing

The desperate search for a young Sydney, Australia, mom and 4-month-old baby who disappeared has ended happily.

Abbi Trappel and her baby, Jahbari Williams, were found “safe and well” on Tuesday after a frantic police search began after friends and family could not contact the 24-year-old.

The pair were last seen at a home in Sydney’s west at Carrington St, Parramatta, at about 7 pm on Monday, with friends and family last making contact at 10 am on Monday, with police appealing for information on Tuesday afternoon.

Hours later, Trappel made a Facebook post at about 4:30 pm, writing: “Hey everyone, I understand and appreciate your concerns Jahbari and I are well and okay, I haven’t been active on my phone and it’s been off !!!”

Despite the post, New South Wales, Australia Police said Trappel and Jahbari were still considered missing until later in the evening.

Authorities thought Trappel and Jahbari could be traveling with a 23-year-old man known to the pair.

He is described as being of African appearance, 5 foot 5 inches tall, and of a thin build with black hair.
