Manchester City vs. Everton pick: Premier League prediction, odds
Everton Football Club might have rescued its season with a stunning 5-1 victory over Brighton on Monday.
It was a stirring display from the Toffees, who closed as +750 underdogs in the match and had one win in their past 10 matches, but the job doesn’t get any easier this weekend as Everton hosts Premier League title favorites Manchester City.
There is rarely a good time to face City, but this is actually a tricky spot for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Not only did they play the first leg of their Champions League semifinal in Madrid on Tuesday, but also they hosted Real Madrid on Wednesday.
That puts Guardiola, who didn’t make a single substitution against Madrid, in an interesting spot with his lineup.
City will know that even its “B team” would have a good chance against Everton, so there’s a chance Guardiola will lean on some of his secondary options over the likes of Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne and Jack Grealish.
Or perhaps Guardiola will go back to the same 11 that tied Real Madrid, 1-1, on Tuesday because he doesn’t want to take any chances of dropping points in the title race.
City can afford to lose once in its last four matches, but Everton is the easiest opponent remaining on its schedule.
Everton has been terrible for large parts of this season, but it already collected some huge upsets against Brighton and Arsenal.
