SUV crashes into Houston coffee shop, narrowly misses podcasters

Shocking video captured the moment an SUV smashed into a Houston coffee shop while two podcasters were filming inside.

Alexsey Reyes and Nathan Reeves were sitting inside the Tout Suite on Commerce Street about 4:30 p.m. Saturday seconds before the frightening incident, Fox 26 reported.

“It got so quiet in here,” Reeves says on the video.

But all hell then breaks loose when the black SUV swerves to the right and crashes through the window.

The vehicle sends glass and debris flying onto the two stunned young men.

A woman explains in a TikTok video that they were trying to film the ending for the podcast episode when the crash upended their efforts.

A separate TikTok video shows the aftermath of the accident, with the SUV leaking fluids and first responders asking the shaken podcasters if they were OK.

Reyes and Nathan Reeves walked away from the incident with just minor injuries, according to the news outlet.
