No pitch, no problem for RCD Mallorca’s Lago Junior.
On Sunday, the 29-year-old La Liga forward revealed he popped the question to girlfriend Fabiola Parralo Macias, noting a change in proposal plans as Spain went into lockdown amid the coronavirus outbreak.
“Well, my love, I had a different plan with family, friends and others but the circumstances have forced me to change the place and the company,” Junior captioned the series of moments on Instagram, according to The Sun.
He continued, “We have been through a lot together. We have lived through a lot of bad moments but we’ve known how to change that pain and suffering into marvelous moments, laughs, trips, meals and a life together how we wanted.”
Junior, who shares 1-year-old daughter Aylén with Parralo Macías, said he knew this day would come “since the moment I saw you with that precious smile.”
“I knew one day I would be in front of you with my knee on the ground taking a ring out of pocket to ask you to MARRY ME… To ask you to accompany me for the rest of my life,” he shared. “I am making it a reality because it is what I want with you, to spend each and every single one of my days next to you and next to our daughter.”
Junior has been with Mallorca since 2016.
As of Tuesday, there are over 180,000 coronavirus cases worldwide and over 7,300 deaths.
