The duo are set to star and produce an eight episode Starz travel series titled Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham, which will follow the Scotsmen as they explore the countryside. In addition to the Men in Kilts TV show, Heughan and McTavish have released a new book titled Clanlands: Whiskey, Warefare, and a Scottish Adventure Like No Other about their travels and unique bond.

WHAT IS THE MEN IN KILTS STARZ SHOW ABOUT?

Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham follows Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish as they travel around Scotland in an attempt to get to know their birthplace. According to Starz, Men in Kilts will be “a celebration of Scottish history and culture as Heughan and McTavish take viewers along on their adventures, discovering the rich, complex heritage of their native country, meeting various local artisans and experts, and experiencing genuine moments of awe and fascination as the duo share their travels with the audience rather than simply guiding them.”

MEN IN KILTS RELEASE DATE: WHEN DOES MEN IN KILTS START?

As of now, Starz has yet to set an official Men in Kilts release date. However, when the show was announced in June, the premium cabler said that it would be “coming soon,” so hopefully fans won’t have to wait too long to see the Outlander stars back in action.

WHAT ELSE DO WE KNOW ABOUT THE MEN IN KILTS TV SHOW?

Men in Kilts is basically a traditional travelogue, but there will be a few surprises along the way — namely, fellow Outlander star Duncan Lacroix. In September, Lacroix told TVLine that viewers “may just see” him in Men in Kilts on Starz, as he makes a “very brief” appearance. Nice!

WHAT ABOUT THE CLANLANDS BOOK BY SAM HEUGHAN AND GRAHAM MCTAVISH?

In addition to their Starz series, Heughan and McTavish have documented their Scottish travels in Clanlands: Whiskey, Warfare, and a Scottish Adventure Like No Other. The book’s official description reveals that Clanlands  will see the duo travel from Glencoe (in central Scotland) to Inverness to the Culloden battlefield and beyond in a camper van, kayak, and bikes.
